Yes, I spent an entire month of the summer watching 5 seasons of Friday Night Lights, but hey–I sold an essay about it so there’s a good justification right there.
In all seriousness, I felt guilty about the time I was spending in the fictional world of Dillon, Texas, but then I realized all the tedious tasks I accomplished while I watched. I’m decent at multi-tasking and I simply cannot just sit and stare into a screen.
