I often come across small “finds” like pictures, products, books, quotes, and other things I want to share. I will do that here on Fridays.
For this week, I’m sharing a quote that I found in the quote book I’ve been keeping since 7th grade. It’s from my favorite show at the time–The Wonder Years. I found it particularly apt for me this week. Well, for all weeks.

Change… Wow. It’s a tough one. It happens whether you resist it or not. But it’s never easy. HA! I just paraphrased the quote. 🙂

That quote is relevant in so many facets of our lives. Change is always hard but sometimes so is staying with the status quo. I used to have a index card box full of quotes that I started collecting around 7th grade also. I wish I still had it! What a treasure your quote book is!

I miss that show so much. And it reminds me of another great quote about how the hardest thing you’ll ever have to do in this life is learn to let people in and out of your heart.

This is the second time I’ve read that quote this morning. Usually if something is in my face several times, it means I should read and contemplate on it a bit more. Thanks for bringing it to my attention again.
I like the idea of Friday Finds. Such a great quote. And so true.
I started keeping a quote book in my early 20s. I haven’t kept it up much in recent years, but I love looking back through it every now and then.
