Do you know what it’s like to be a super-fan of a podcast and then get to be a guest? That’s the exact experience I had recently as a guest on Hyperbole: The Best Podcast Ever, which is the full and brilliant name of the show.
And I wish I had thought of it since “Hyperbole: The Best Podcast Ever” easily breaks down into sensible banter-worthy segments for the co-hosts, Amy Zaroff and Danielle Arlowe. Think along the lines of “best thing ever this week” or “worst thing ever.” Every week they also interview a guest doing “cool things” and I got to be “the best blogger and friendship advice columnist ever.” It’s a title I enjoyed for my time on the show.
You can listen to the whole episode here. It’s the March 2nd, 2019 episode. “The Best Nook Ever.” I come in at minute 19, but listen to the whole episode to get a sense of how perfectly Amy and Danielle bounce their ideas off of each other and have tons of fun in the process. I’m so impressed with how they’ve built their audience in a short time and how well they work together as friends.
And I’m a wee-bit jealous as I love the idea of having a podcast, but all the sound editing and expense of it holds me back. A friendship advice blog seems so obvious for me. Maybe one day! For now, I’m happy to be a guest. Thank you, Hyperbole!
