One of my greatest joys is leading creative writing groups for ModernWell, based out of Minneapolis. My groups are for all levels. We write about new topics and in new ways each week. We have a lot of fun, and we tear up with emotion, too.
During Covid-times, we’ve had to switch to Zoom and Google Meets. I’ve missed seeing everyone in person, but one benefit has been the ability for out-of-state writers to join us. This summer we’re still online, and I’m leading a brand new group all about friendship. For six weeks we’ll be writing about the ups and downs of friendship with direction from me.

And thank you to longtime Tuesday writing group member, Leslie, for the great shirt. It’s my new favorite teaching shirt!
