You can do that here and I will never know it was from you.

Friendship Articles and More

I love doing these friendship roundups! I see so many friendship-related things, either because I find them myself or people send them to me. I’m going to keep sharing them on my site twice a month.

Articles About Friendship I’ve Liked Lately

“How Do You Serve a Friend in Despair” by David Brooks in the NYT  (Thank you to Pam Moore for sending.)

“The Irresistible Allure of Piecing Together Someone Friend Breakup on Instagram” by Carolyn Steber in Bustle

“I Was Ghosted By My Best Friend,” by Diana Daniele in Newsweek

TV Shows & Books

  • Are you watching The Last of Us on HBO? It’s gruesome, but if you can get through episodes 1 & 2, there’s a treasure waiting in episode 3, including a friendship between two couples that is quite literally life-saving.
  • There’s a storyline in season 2 of Ginny & Georgia about the friendship between Georgia and Ellen that I really appreciate, especially because it shows two grown woman staying friends despite their teen girls’ major friendship issues. This relates to my newest post on Substack about a woman who ended a friendship with her friend because their kids stopped being friends.
  • I’m reading Catherine Newman’s novel, We All Want Impossible Things, which features a beautiful friendship during one friend’s time in hospice.
