“The Friendship Rule You Should Never Break” was a great article in Psychology Today. Most of the advice centered on jealousy. I loved this general statement: “Resentment of a friend’s good fortune is never acceptable.” AMEN. Personally, I’ve always noticed the absolute best of friends are there in the good times, not only in the bad ones. Sometimes it’s harder to be there for our friends’ successes believe it or not.
