Friendship Articles and More
I love doing these Friendship roundups! I see so many friendship-related things, either because I find them myself or people send them to me. I’m going to keep sharing them on my site twice a month.
Articles and Episodes About Friendship I’ve Liked Lately
“As much as we may feel like our social networks are set and settled, it’s never too late to meet someone who will be important to you for the rest of your life.” Loved that nugget and many more from the final entry in Julie Beck’s Friendship Files series at The Atlantic. That quote in particular relates well to episode 26 of my podcast. Full article is here: “The Six Forces That Fuel Friendship”.
Ever since Jennifer Senior wrote that excellent friendship piece at The Atlantic in March, “It’s Friends Who Break Your Heart,” she’s made the rounds on several podcasts. I think I enjoyed her most with Andrew Sullivan. Listen here.
Jen Hatmaker and Kelly Corrigan talk about their friendship and friendship in general. I first heard this conversation on Kelly’s podcast. I found new gems this time.
Samantha Irby (I’m a HUGE fan!) had some great friendship nuggets during her guest spot on We Can Do Hard Things.
