No-Show Socks That Fit My Big Feet

I’m a couple weeks behind for “What’s Making Me Happy This Week.” Today’s post is a bit of a random sampling.

First up: my friend, Kara, shared her favorite no-show socks on Instagram. The socks were a tip she got from her friend, Cassie. These ladies are not bloggers. I’m talking about real-life tips from real-life people. (Yes, I know bloggers are people. I’m a person!) Anyway, I perked up when I saw Kara post on Instagram about these socks. I have big feet (size 9.5) and most no-show socks slip right off and force me to spend half the day pulling them back onto my heels. #bigfeetproblems Kara promised these were the socks of my dreams and she was right.

I LOVE them!

There are two songs I’ve been playing on repeat for a while. Both feel like good writing anthems for characters in my head. One is Kelly Clarkson’s “Broken & Beautiful” from the movie Ugly Dolls, which I never saw. Great song though! The other is “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi, which is the perfect anthem for every breakup ever. I’m not going through one! (But my characters often are.) The video is more about cancer than a breakup.
